DISCUSSION:
We had an overcast day in the Tennessee Valley today with periods of rain, mainly light rain. The High in Cullman was 59, and the morning Low was 52. Huntsville saw a High of 61 and Low of 53. And Nashville had a High of 63, Low of 56 today.
We’ve got some stratiform rain moving through North Alabama this evening, specifically through Cullman, Walker, and Blount Counties at the moment. Got a little bit of rain in Marion, Franklin, and Colbert Counties as well. And there is more back in Mississippi. This is ahead of a cold front. We’ll deal with more rain tomorrow before the whole things blows through.
Our air is really stable, so we haven’t had hardly any thunder or lightning, just rain that we’ve been badly needing for a while.
